"Designer Gonul Paksoy's exhibition entitled 'Timeless Simplicity' which will open in our museum on April 18th, 2007 consists of two parts, Collection and Creation. In the Collection part limited to rugs and kilims in the framework of the Conference, works of art which have influenced Paksoy, which have been the fount of inspiration for the wealth of colour in her original designs, will be exhibited. The exhibition, prepared jointly with Sahin Paksoy, includes samples of rugs and kilims from various regions of Anatolia, starting in the 18th century and covering 300 years. The Creation part consists of Gonul Paksoy's designs realized with old Ottoman textiles". A very heavy volume.
