Inscription on front end paper. No other marks. A clean tight copy with unmarked grey cloth boards and with bumping to most corners. Dust jacket price clipped but not marked with some rubbing and nicks and light creasing to upper and lower edges. 225pp. The author's account of her visit to Afghanistan in the mid 1970s, not long before the Russian invasion. She came to know well, three young mothers who welcomed her into their homes, sharing their daily lives and preoccupations, and taught her their customs, songs and music. Illustrated.
