An early edition of this classic illustrated by Wyeth. Illustrated throughout with 9 full-page colourplates, illustrated endpapers, and a pictorial colour pastedown to the cover by N. C. Wyeth. 8vo, publisher's original black cloth gilt lettered on the spine and with a pictorial paste-down to the upper cover. ix, 328 pp. A good copy the binding strong and tight, the spine panel with mellowing to the gilt and light evidence of use, internally clean and bright.
Edizione: as always, n.c. wyeth's iconic artwork decorates the literature perfectly. the black arrow tells the story of dick shelton during the war of the roses. shelton seeks justice for the death of his father, but the struggle do so sweeps him up into the greater conflict surrounding him.
