FIRST AND ONLY EDITION of this proposal to prepare the port of Le Havre to receive ocean liners. 27 pp plus a very large folding map with the Seine colored by hand. Printed on very good, thick wove paper. Large 8vo. Original wraps (lightly worn and soiled). Map with some very minor tears and foxing. Otherwise internally fine. A rare and very early work relating to Transatlantic passenger ships.
