This is a near fine hardcover copy, endpapers lightly toned. With an about very good dust jacket with a few chips to the top edge of the front panel and the top of the spine. SIGNED by Roman Vishniac, in ink on the title-page. Not inscribed to anyone, just signed. Stated fifth printing. Introductory essay by Abraham Joshua Heschel. Illustrated throughout in black & white with Roman Vishniac's powerful photographs of the Jews in Poland circa 1938. 11" high X 8" wide, 16 text pages + 31 photographs. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
