Si tratta di una serie di contributi filosofici e storico-filosofici volti a instaurare un rapporto costruttivo e di reciproca osmosi tra la riflessione filosofica e le discipline scientifiche particolari: una vera e propria “lotta intellettuale” intrapresa dall’autore per fare spazio alla filosofia della scienza nel contesto italiano della prima metà del secolo scorso. Albergamo intende l’espressione “filosofia della scienza” essenzialmente come “critica” della scienza, in un’accezione prima kantiana e poi crociana del termine. Egli si pone quindi su un versante ben differente da quello che sarà l’orientamento egemone della filosofia della scienza in Italia, che con Ludovico Geymonat dominerà nelle università per circa mezzo secolo e sarà caratterizzato dall’assunzione del neopositivismo, o empirismo logico, di stampo austriaco-anglosassone come base teoretica fondamentale. Albergamo indirizza invece, in modo originale e al contempo in sintonia con i risultati più incisivi della tradizione filosofica italiana, i suoi studi verso l’approfondimento dei rapporti tra la filosofia e le scienze nelle sue nuove forme otto-novecentesche: la teoria della relatività, la meccanica quantistica, le geometrie non euclidee, gli spazi a molte dimensioni.</p></div></div><a class="text-uppercase text-secondary font-weight-bold d-block mb-1 mt-2" href="https://www.carocci.it/prodotto/per-la-filosofia-della-scienza#" data-toggle="modal" data-target="#description-modal" style="box-sizing: border-box;
