Very clean very tight pages with unmarked green cloth boards, sunned to spine, discoloured to lower external corners of the boards (damp ?) and no bumping to corners. 104pp. A study of the Southern England countryside by author HE Bates during the Second World War. Illustrated by Tunnicliffe. Tucked in is a copy of an HE Bates' obituary from The Times of 1974.
