A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, minor rubbing around spine foot, tanned pages, minor traces of storage and no bumping to corners. 224pp. The author was detained as a Mau Mau activist by the British in a detention camp for seven years. This book describes his experiences during this time and the methods used by his captors. In the Penguin African Library series no 15.
