No added marks or inscriptions. Front cover missing, rear cover detached. Spine strip partly missing. A few finger marks and some foxing. Page edges untrimmed and dusty. Each of the three sections opens with a lithographic drawing or plan, which curiously, appear to be damp affected aound their edges. Little similar effect throughout the book. 320pp. Written in three sections, for each of Southport, Lytham and Blackpool, with details about their topography, inhabitants, nature, activities, eating, lodgings, laws and much more. Extremely scarce first edition.
