Spine with for raised, gilt-lined bands and gilt title. Edges speckled red. = An uncommon work. In the rear and 8 pp. list of other British Museum collection guides. Stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020) in the top margin of the front free endpaper recto and title page. Boards worn at edges, and a bit soiled, otherwise very good.
