Original, uniform printed wrappers. = An important contribution to the knowledge of birds of prey, in particular falcons. Written by the Russian ornithologist Pjotr Petrowitch Suschkin (1868-1928). Tinninculus is the common kestrel. Published in two issues of the society's Nouveaux Mémoires, the Tinninculus paper first. Uncut. The paper quality of the text leaves of the second paper is not as good as in the first paper. Wrappers, on inferior paper, chipped at edges, lacking one blank rear wrapper. Still a very good set, especially regarding the plates. Cat. BM(NH), p. 2051.
