Wien, Kaiserliche Akademie der Wissenschaften, 1869. 4to (29.8 x 23.6 cm). 15 pp.; one text figure, three fine lithographic plates (one large, double-folded). = With excellent detailed descriptions and illustrations. Written by the Austrian geologist, mineralogist, palaeontologist and herpetologist Karl (or Carl) Ferdinand Peters (1825-1881). Two plates with some weak small spots, as usual, the large double-folded plate however, almost clean. In all a very good copy of this scarce work.
