Printed, partially hand-coloured plate. = A fine plate from a rare and interesting work by the German painter, engraver, and naturalist Johann Daniel Meyer (1713-1752). It depicts the living animal and the skeleton of a blue trout, (Salmo species). The plate in very good condition. French translation added in a neat old hand, otherwise very good, clean.
