In 1842, the medical doctor Pieter Bleeker (1819-1878) started collecting fish when stationed in the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia). Published in the Natuurkundig Tijdschrift voor Nederlandsch Indië, vol. 17, with the issue's wrappers. Uncut. Pages and wrappers lose, but otherwise a very good, clean copy. Dean 1, 126.
