Contemporary half sheep over marbled boards. = The parts 2 and 3 are the most important being a description of plants, mostly phanerogams, of the north-eastern part of Celebes (Sulawesi, Indonesia), in fact being the first scientific floral description of this part of the island. It also contains a list of plant names in the Toeloo, Tonsean, and other local languages. The first part is a general description of his voyage from Java to Sulawesi, with information on topography, volcanology, etc. Title page in photostat, pp. 700-714 (end) on less good paper, edges chipped and trimmed.
