The book ends with a few Konkani folktales: the story of the Jamboo fruit; the cupidity of a Brahmin; the bran maid; the cruel step mother; the tale of the wax doll and the cow dung girl; the last folk tale is Ravalo Shenai and his shrew of a wife.
