Spine with gilt title. = Seldom-seen near contemporary bound copy of a nicely illustrated and important monograph by the German zoologist and palaeontologist Johannes Peter Müller (1801-1858), with many new species, and a new crinoid genus. Sea urchins are also included. Published in the academy's Abhandlungen. Boards a bit rubbed, some light spotting, small repair to the title page, otherwise a very good copy.
