London, The Entomological Society of London, 1897-1916. 19 parts in 22. 8vo (21.3 x 13.7 cm). Uniform light tan buckram. Gilt title on the spines. = A rare, uninterrupted run, starting in the age of descriptive entomology and ending at the dawn of predominantly ecological and behavioural entomology, however with illustrated taxonomical revisions and monographs throughout. Richly illustrated, including many, mostly chromolithographed, full colour plates. The first volume in original printed wrappers (wrappers somewhat frayed and chipped), the other 18 parts in very nice, uniform bindings.
