Contemporary (publisher's?) cloth with gilt title on spine. = Surprisingly rare and important contribution to the Hymenoptera of Madagascar, including 88 new species of solitary wasps. The author, the British entomologist and Hymenoptera-specialist George Arnold (1881-1962), was Curator of the Rhodesian Museum in Bulawayo between 1911 and 1947. Printed for the trustees of the National Museum of southern Rhodesia and due to war not issued before May 1945. A few leaves uncut. Stamp on front pastedown, label on spine foot, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
