ABOUT THE BOOK This book is designed to fulfil a historical necessity too. During the first half of the last century his magnetic personality cast a tsumani like commotion among the mass populace from Manipur to Karachi, from Kashmir to Cape of Comorin of India irrespective of caste, creed, race and religion etc. They ran after his heels madly, followed his commands hysterically, even went to jails chanting his mantra, 'do or die'. But now in this first decade of twenty first century the mass populace, especially the youths because of thrusting electronic, ultra modern life style seem to be perplexed, hedged about Gandhian legacy. To interprete Gandhi is to interpret the Himalayas. His Collected Works are not complete. It deals with the sentient self not spiritual one. To him mind is individualistic and hence defies universalisation, still we try to bring to light the uncultivated traits of Gandhi’s personality.
