Copenhagen, Danish Science Press, 1958-1962. Four volumes in four. 8vo (24.6 x 17.2 cm). Uniform stiff, printed wrappers. = The first four parts of a series of seven, mainly based on the results of the Danish Rennell Expedition 1951, and the British Museum (Natural History) Expedition 1953, and published on behalf of both parties. The much rarer subsequent parts were mostly based on the results of the Danish Noona Dan Expedition 1962, and the Danish Rennell Expedition, 1965. Volume 1 is subtitled "Vertebrates" and contains 12 parts; Volume 2 (1959) "Invertebrates, pars" contains 18 parts; Vol. 3 (1960) "Botany and Geology" 6 parts; vol. 4 (1962) "Invertebrates, pars and Addition to Vertebrates" 10 parts. A very good, clean and unmarked set.
