This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, in 1984. The exhibition itself celebrated one of the most extraordinary gifts to the Museum of Modern Art, the Mary and William Sisler Collection, which has about ninety works by Marcel Duchamp, plus Brancusi's own personal favorite of his Endless Column sculptures.
