Both the glassine and Monthly Letter are present. xxxi, 165 pp. A very fine copy, as pristine and mint, the slipcase with some rubbing to the label.

Edizione: a beautiful copy, handsomely bound and with dramatic line drawings. the mishna is the systematic collection of religious-legal decisions developing the laws of the old testament; together with the gemara, which contains supplementary material (legal and otherwise), it comprises the talmud, the great book of jewish law. the mishna is a more or less careful arrangement of the extant oral law, and forms the foundation of the gemama.<br> this is an especially pleasing and useful presentation of the talmud and the great teachings imbedded in it. the artwork, printing, paper and binding are all very handsome indeed.<br>
