With frontispiece portrait of Schiller engraved by Bull after Graff. 8vo, bound in three quarter polished calf over marbled paper covered boards, the spine with raised bands gilt decorated, the compartments of the spine gilt tooled, one compartment with lettering label gilt. vi, 352pp. A good copy of the author's first book, some light offsetting to the title from the frontispiece portrait, some rubbing and light edge wear to the binding, rear board tender and nearly detached.
