Publisher's green cloth with gilt title on the spine. = A mostly geological and mineralogical work, but with chapters on the mammals, and arachnids (including new species), fishes, reptiles and amphibians. Stamp on front free endpaper and series half-title; minimal wear to the front board. A very good copy. Very uncommon, especially outside the U.S.A.
