Original printed wrappers. = This is the latest and probably last part of the Siboga Expedition, published 85 years after the first [Monographie XXXIX, C4 (= Livraison 148)]. The Siboga Expedition was the most important tropical marine science serial ever published by the Dutch on the amazingly diverse flora and fauna of the waters of Indonesia by the famous publisher Brill in Leiden and edited by Max Weber and L. de Beaufort. It deals with the zoological, botanical, geological and oceanographic results of the expedition under command of Tydeman during 1899-1900. This part contains several new taxa. The descriptions and illustrations are excellent. As new, a mint copy.
