Illustrated throughout with cuts within the text. 32mo, 8.4 x 4.5 cm., bound in contemporary decorated calf, the covers with fine art-deco designs in gilt and coloured calf, the spine panel fully gilt with raised bands and a black morocco lettering label gilt, marbled endleaves. xvi, 314, [4. notes and index] pp. A well preserved copy, the text-block in very good order, the volume sometime restored at the back using the original spine panel.
