This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Cheekwood Museum of Art in Nashville, Tennessee from January 28 to April 23, 2000. The exhibition then traveled to New York City, Rochester, NY, Atlanta, and finally Orlando in 2001. Essays by Robert Farris Thompson, Bobby L.
