[COMPLETE] Contemporary gilt-bordered half calf over marbled boards. Spine with five raised bands. Rich gilt compartments with intricate floral patterns. Red morocco label with gilt title. Marbled flyleaves. = A thorough ontological study with very nice plates and a sumptuous binding. Published in the Gesellschaft's (society's) Abhandlungen. Heinrich Reichenbach (1848-1921) should not be confused with the two botanists of that name. Some rubbing to the boards, creasing to the fore-edges of a few folded plates, and occasional slight foxing, mainly in the text. In all a very good,attractively bound copy. Nissen ZBI, 3359.
