Original printed wrappers. = Rare single volume of the most important natural history journal of Ceylon (= Sri Lanka), containing five papers on the herpetology of the island, and a few other papers. The herpetological papers are: A. M. Smith and P. E. P. Deraniyagala A new genus of Gecko (two pp., two fine text illustrations); and four papers by the second author, namely Some phylogenetic features in the leathery turtle Dermochelys coriacea (eight pp.; two plates, two text figures), Relationships among loggerhead turtles (Carettidae) (three pp., one plate with two photos)", Corselet reduction in some testudinates (19 pp.; 15 fine text illustrations), and Some new fossorial skinks of Ceylon (three pp.; one text figure). A very good, clean copy.
