Edizione: a superb sequence of 43 new poems published the same year hughes was made poet laureate of england, a post he served till his death in 1998. interestingly, the american edition is less common then the british and of the american edition the issue in wrappers is less common then the hard cover. one of england’s most popular poets of his generation, here in america he is perhaps better remembered for his marriage to american poet sylvia plath.
