This is a near fine softcover copy with almost no wear. Completely clean inside and out. Spine not creased, binding firm and tight. Text in Chinese with English translations at the end. This massive catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition in 1994 at the Kaohsiung Museum in Taiwan. The exhibition was divided into three main periods: the Ming-Ching 1789-1895; the Japanese Occupation 1895-1945 and the last, From Recovery to 1980. There were 463 works in the exhibition. All illustrated with color plates. Chronology and Bibliography in Chinese only. Essays by Hsiao Ch'iung-jui, Huang Tung-fu, Chuang Po-ho, and Wang Yao-t'ing. 12" high X 9" wide, 574 pages.
