Original printed wrappers. = The first attempt (and a good one) to reconstruct the Eocene mammal Coryphodon. On one plate an interesting comparison to Dinoceras and Elephas (modern elephant) is made. Published in the American Journal of Science, with the wrappers of the issue. Wrapper paper brittle, as usual, otherwise a very good copy. Rare.
