Disbound. = A rarely seen and attractively illustrated work on leeches and their internal and external morphology and anatomy, written by the French parasitologist Émile Brumpt (1877-1951). His best-known work is Précis de Parasitologie, which was published in six editions between 1910 and 1949. He was the author of many scientific papers, including several on Anopheles mosquito and its relationship to malaria. In 1922 he became President of the Société Zoologique de France. A very good copy, with fine, clean plates.
