Disbound. = The complete monograph on sea anemones by the German zoologist and microscopist Richard Wilhelm Karl Theodor Ritter von Hertwig (1850-1937), here simply named Richard Hertwig. The work includes new genera and species. The fine engravings are reminiscent of the work of Hertwig's contemporary compatriot Ernst Haeckel, who contributed to the Challenger results too. Disbound, with the spine cocked, but otherwise remarkably good, being clean and unmarked. Nissen ZBI, 1923.
