This was the first exhibition on the life and work of RÈ Soupault (1901- 1996) an artist trained at the Bauhaus and active in the mid twentieth century with the Surrealists and other arists. In the 1930's working on several photographic assignments with the French writer Philippe Soupault they eventually married. Illustrated in black & white and some color. Her photographic work especially well presented. Essays by Manfred Metzner, Inge Herold, and Karoline Hille. 11" high X 8" wide, 264 pages. Large heavy book, foreign shipping may be extra.
