This is a very good hardcover copy with almost no wear. Completely clean inside and out. Text in French. Introduction by Marie-Laure Jousset. Essay by Alexander von Vegesack. This is the Collection of the Centre de Creation Industrielle, part of the Musee national d'art moderne in Paris. The collection is comprised mostly of chairs, all designed between the 1920's and the 1960's. From Eileen Gray, Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe, Rietveld, Breuer, Alvar Aalto, Hans Coray, Sori Yanagi, Jens Risom, Noguchi, Pierre Jeanneret, Eero Saarinen, Harry Bertoia, Charles Eames, George Nelson, among others. Illustrated with photographs, both color and black & white. Also laid in is a folded sheet, poster with new acquistions in small black & white photographs. About two dozen pieces on the poster, which is not dated. Full technical information on all works in the collection illustrated. 12" high X 9" wide, 71 pages.
