Pictorial dustjacket. = One of the first mineralogical and geological descriptions of a single mountain. Originally published in Latin and here in the German translation with an introduction by F. Roesli and several annotations and comments by other scholars. With a signed, hand-written dedication by Roesli to the Swiss geologist Eugène Wegmann (1896-1982). A rare publication, in particular with the dust jacket still present. Edges of dustjacket with small chips and a small part taped, otherwise in excellent condition.
