This is a very good hardcover copy with a very good dust jacket. The jacket has a couple of short closed tears on the right edge of the front panel. Signed in ink, by the photographer, Ashkan Sahihi, on the title-page just below his printed name. Not inscribed to anyone, just signed. Stated first U. S. edition. Illustrated in black & white and some color with photographs of fifty well known people in the cultural world: artists, writers, musicians, etc. Each subject gets at least 3 photographs, sometimes more. Subjects include: John Cage, Joan Didion, Woody Allen, Paul Auster, Jerzy Kosinski, Quentin Crisp, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Simon Schama, Philip Glass, John Irving, Steve Reich, O. Winston Link, John Lurie, Dorothea Tanning, Big Daddy Kane, Jayne Anne Phillips, and Hubert Selby, Jr. among others. 12" high X 9" wide, 196 pages. A rare signed copy.
