Original printed wrappers. = Two papers by the Bostonian entomologist Samuel Hubbard Scudder (1837-1911), on the classification of fossil insects. The first paper contains descriptions and illustrations of new species; the second paper is a more general review of insect phylogeny. Bot published, back-to-back in the Society's Memoirs (numbers 12 and 13). Beautifully illustrated and rare, as with many of these early Memoirs. Horn-Schenkling II(4) p. 93.
