Edges speckled red. = Rare regional ornithological guide of southern France, written by the ornithologist Jean Crespon (1797-1857). With in the top margin of the half-title a stamp of Dr. Louis [David] Planchon, in Montpellier. Planchon (1858-1915) is known as a botanist and pharmacist.
