This is a very good softcover copy with light cover wear. Completely clean inside and out. Binding firm. Front cover lower right corner creased. Text in English and Italian. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Sotheby's in Milan on May 22, 2007. The sale consisted of the collection of Jef Verheyen and Dani Franque. Jef Verheyen moved to Milan from his native Belgium in the late 1950's. As an artist working in Milan he met Lucio Fontana, Piero Manzoni, Roberto Crippa, Yves Klein, Gunther Uecker and many others. He began collecting their works then. 39 works in the sale. All illustrated in color. Many black & white vintage photographs of Verheyen, Fontana, Manzoni, etc. 11" high X 8" wide, 99 pages.
