Written by the Dutch ornithologist Jan Herman Kruimel (1885-1916) who worked at the Amsterdam Zoo, "Artis". He died shortly and suddenly after publication of this work, which was also his thesis. Published as Bijdragen tot de Dierkunde te Amsterdam, 20(2). Wrappers detached, much chipped and creased at the margins, binding very weak, but otherwise good, clean. Anker, 41.
