London, The Zoological Society, 1878 [1879]. 4to (31.1 x 25.0 cm). 46 pp.; nine fine, lithographed plates. Contemporary quarter cloth over marbled boards. Spine with gilt title. Brown endpapers. = A well-illustrated paper, published in the Society's Transactions. Separately bound copies are rare. According to Dean it was published in 1879. Light rubbing to the boards, small note in an old (German) hand in the lower margin of the first text leaf, and asmall stamp erased; the plates numbered in pencil in the top-outer margin, otherwise clean. A very good copy. Dean II, p. 233.
