Paper spine cover. = A fine monograph on the geology of this part of the south coast of Devon known as the "English Riviera", by the English geologist and palaeontologist Sir Henry Thomas de la Beche (1796-1855). The geological map and corresponding profiles of this geologically complex region are detailed and nicely coloured. Published in the Society's Transactions. Uncut. Top edge partly, marginally stained and with some paper-loss, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
