Small 8vo, publisher's original patterned cloth, the spine with red morocco lettering label gilt, in the rare original coloured glassine wrapper and now protected by a clear over-wrapper. 41 pp. A pristine copy of this very scarce book, near as mint and in perfect condition, the wrapper also very well preserved with some light edge wear and a chip to its spine panel.
Edizione: a fine collection of poetry by popular irish poet, novelist and broadcaster james stephens. stephens’ prose fantasy ‘the crock of gold’ and irish fairy tales over shadowed much of his poetical work, but he has always been critically high regarded.
