The many illustrations throughout are finely reproduced from black and white photographs. 4to, the first three volumes in the publisher’s original green cloth, the final volume in the deluxe tan buckram lettered and decorated in gilt on the spines, the tan volume pictorially decorated and ruled on the upper cover, the green volumes with gilt lettered panels on the upper covers. 302; 302; 301, [1]; 296 pp. Generally clean and very good copies, the spines mellowed, the text-blocks all clean and in pleasing condition, all plates and illustrations in fine condition.
