Spine with handwritten paper labels. = This peculiar work on the language of animals contains a dictionary of animal speech (p. 121-143) and an alphabet of animal movements. Deals also with "Tierseelen-kunde". Gottfried Immanuel Wenzel (1754-1809) was a German philosopher. Boards a bit rubbed. Old, small library stamps on the title page, frontispiece blank verso, and a text page, otherwise good, clean. Rare.
