Berlin, Georg Reimer, 1864. 4to (32.1 x 24.3 cm). 61 engraved plates with captions, loose, as issued, in green cloth and boards portfolio with printed label on front board. = The botanical results of an expedition to the then little explored southeastern coasts of Africa, opposite Madagascar and now known as Moçambique (Mozambique, German: Mosambik), however, without the text. The subtropical flora has many endemic elements and therefore it does not come as a surprise that this early exploration yielded many new species. Some light rubbing to the boards, a few spots on some plates but in all a very good, complete set of the plates. Nissen ZBI, 3139.
