Original printed wrappers. = Apparently a very rare work, published in low numbers as it is type-written and contains peculiar simple illustrations that are tipped in. Yet it must be important as a contribution to continental drift when the subject was controversial and far from being settled. Karl Georg Schmidt (1902-1976) was a German geologist at the University of Karlsruhe. Geological library stamp on the front wrapper and half-title. Small tear in front wrapper, otherwise a good copy.
